Dinozaurul
albastru
Ieri a fost, azi
nu mai este,
Într-o casă ca-n
poveste,
Fetiţa cu ochi
căprui
Şi cu visele
hai-hui.
Camera ei era
roză
Chiar aşa ca
într-o poză:
Perne roz, păpuşi
cu funde,
Curăţenie pe
oriunde.
Era frig şi
zloată-afară,
Ea privea doar
într-o doară,
Aşteptând pe Moş
Crăciun,
Mâncând pâine cu
magiun.
Şi atunci dorind
fierbinte,
Spuse două-trei
cuvinte:
„Moş Crăciun,
e-adevărat,
De păpuşi m-am
săturat.
Vreau un dinozaur
mare
Auriu pe
aripioare,
Pielea ca de
alabastru,
Îmbrăcat tot în
albastru.
Eu de roz sunt
plictisită,
Camera mea e
ticsită,
Iar când văd
cerul curat,
Nu vreau nori, că
e păcat.”
Dumnezeu
întâmplător
A-nţeles al fetei
dor,
Aşternând zăpadă
albă,
Cer senin, soare
ca-n salbă.
Notă: sunt conștientă că roză nu se mai folosește azi, e un arhaism în cazul culorii, poate voi schimba
Mâţa
cuminte
Pisi
n-are nicio vină
Fiindcă nici n-avea habar
Că în cursă-au pus slănină
Pentru şoareci în hambar.
Fiindcă nici n-avea habar
Că în cursă-au pus slănină
Pentru şoareci în hambar.
Şi s-a prins un şorecuţ,
Mama l-a dat la pisică,
Şi era aşa drăguţ
Tremura întreg de frică.
Mama l-a dat la pisică,
Şi era aşa drăguţ
Tremura întreg de frică.
Dar pisica cea zvârlugă,
După ce l-a mirosit,
A lăsat pe chiţ să fugă
Ca un vânător cinstit.
Variantele în engleză mi-au ieșit mai bine
The Blue Dinosaur
Once upon a happy time,
At the end of a long street,
Lived a little brown-eyed girl
Smiling always very sweet.
Her small room was painted pink,
Pillows pink, pink her bed sheet.
All her dolls, her pretty dress,
Everything was clean and neat.
Outside it was cold and sleet,
Christmas time was almost there,
She stood watching from the window
Holding tight her teddy bear.
Thinking about Santa Claus
She made then a special prayer:
„Please, bring something else this time.
No more dolls with plastic hair.”
„I just want a dinosaur
Wearing a blue silk costume
With white skin and golden wings
Flying all around my room.
I am bored of too much pink
It’s enough when roses bloom.
When the sky is blue and clear
I want blue, but never gloom.”
Maybe God heard that girl’s wish,
Changing what was there below,
He made snow instead of sleet,
With blue sky and golden glow.
Kitty
După ce l-a mirosit,
A lăsat pe chiţ să fugă
Ca un vânător cinstit.

Kitty
I think Kitty is not guilty.
She was sleeping at first floor.
Daddy put lard in a mousetrap
And then locked our corn shed door.

And then locked our corn shed door.
Just one little mouse was caught
And I felt sorrow and pity.
Mommy gave him to the cat
Poor mouse, he was so pretty.
But our darling blue-eyed Kitty,And I felt sorrow and pity.
Mommy gave him to the cat
Poor mouse, he was so pretty.
Let the mouse run as he could
Choosing milk instead for breakfast,
Like an honest hunter should.
